David has an extensive 30 plus year career in biotechnology and healthcare including diagnostics, medical devices, home care, and patient therapies in infectious disease, cardiology, sleep medicine, immunology, and neuromuscular disorders. His corporate experiences at Abbott Laboratories, Murex, and Ocean Optics are complemented by his start-up experiences at Nexan, Innogenetics, Syntro, and others. He has been the strategic driver for a significant number of corporate investments, PE transactions, and the logarithmic growth of disruptive healthcare technologies.

David’s additional experiences include biotechnology consulting with Booz Allen & Hamilton’s strategy and healthcare practices. He has also been the sponsor and catalyst for groundbreaking clinical studies in HIV resistance, sleep medicine and heart failure, IVIg dosing in neuromuscular disorders, and additional rare diseases. He received a BS in Chemical Engineering and Biotech from the Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. David and his wife Derelle are enjoying an ‘empty nest’ (having raised a blended family of seven children), living on Clearwater Beach, tennis, and travel.
